Makeup for Beginners!

Hello Beauts!

How are we on this current Wednesday? I have to say a quick thank you to you all as I've just hit 60 followers! Oh wow! Haha. That is amazing, I can't believe it!! So thank you soooo much for reading and enjoying my blog! It means a lot. Also, when I hit 100 followers on BlogLovin, I will do a giveaway! I PROMISE!

Anyway, on to the actual post. As I'm still technically a beginner at makeup, I want to share what makeup products I used first of all and maybe it could help you beauty beginners too. The makeup products that I am going to tell you are the basics, so no primers or cc or bb cream or any fancy stuff, hahaha.

Foundation: So, the first foundation that I used was Lasting Perfection by Collection 2000, you've may of seen this product in my last haul but I have to admit it's quite good! Fair quality and good price. It lasts for 16 hours and the coverage is pretty good for this cheap product.

Concealer: The first ever concealer that I use was Natural Collection Cover-up Stick and this wasn't the best but it was good enough. You would have to touch up throughout the door as it would fade. The price is very cheap indeed as this isn't a big brand but ,as I will probably keep repeating throughout this post, it's good for beginners.

Mascara: The mascara was also from Natural Collection, haha. I did buy a couple of things from here as it was cheap and looked good for beginners and it have to admit it was ok.

Lips: Like most people, I use to buy loads of flavored lip balms and I actually found out they gave me really dry lips so I know tend to avoid them but when I had them, I used them like normal lipstick. You can find lip balms anywhere nowadays!

That's pretty much it of what I used when I started with makeup. Hopefully, for you beginners, this may help you on what makeup to buy first of all.

Time for me to go now! Oh! Before I go, my schedule for blogging now will be a little messy as it is unfortunately exam time for me and my A Levels. So, now I will just blog when I have time and if I have anything new to show and tell you all!

You're Beautiful and Thanks for Reading!

#GirlyTalkWednesdays : Girly Night In vs Girly Night Out.

Hi Everyone!

How is everyone's Wednesday been so far? Haha. Unfortunately, I am currently not feeling too great but I still have the strength and effort to do a blog post! Especially as it's Girly Talk Wednesdays! Woop woop!

So, the topic this week is Girly Night Out vs Girly Night in, us girls all like both of these kinds of nights. With or without friends. Either way, it's fun!

To start us off then, a girly night out - A girly night out normally contains going out with your girlfriends and hitting the clubs or just going a restaurant, both ways, you want to nice and glamorous. You may buy a nice knee height dress with a pair of heels that make you taller than you should be. Then, with your hair, you could go many ways with it. Such as, curling or straightening it - us girls normally go for something that is the opposite of what we normally do with our hair, sometimes with even experiment with our hair and see how it turns out. After deciding on what to do with our hair, you tend to put a lot, and i mean A LOT, of hairspray on! So, this can keep our hair looking the same as we did when we left for the night out. Lastly, makeup! With makeup, we do like to go big. We mostly focus on the eyes. So, we tend put on smoky dark colours - these could be colours such as navy blue, dark blue, black - but sometimes when we are going to the clubs, we tend to put light and vulnerable colours on such as baby blue or pink. Going back to the smoky eye look - we top it off with thick mascara or as most girls like to do, false eyelashes - this actually makes the eyes look fully and thicker. We can actually sometimes add some eyeliner too, thick or thin, both ways it works. We normally then go for a natural kind of foundation cover, as I've said before, we focus more on the eyes. Finally, we add lipstick. I personally recommend putting lip balm on first before putting on the lipstick as it keeps your lips moist throughout the night. With the lipstick colour, we put on a darker colour like dark red - so, it matches the smoky eye look. But if you are going for the lighter look, we would put on a light pink or a hot pink on.

Next, we have the girly night in - this can be with or without friends. Both ways, it's enjoyable! Out of the two - this is my favorite! I love my little nights in where I can just relax and be myself and not worry about looking my best. So, my girly nights in are normally consisted of junk food and my favorites movies! I throw my comfortable clothes on so if I do end up falling asleep I won't be in jeans or anything that I don't want to get crinkled. Then while watching the movies, I would browse through twitter and Facebook and check on my blog. With friends, you can do the exact same! You and your girlfriends can gossip, catch up and have a great laugh! With makeup - honey, ain't nobody got time for that! - DON'T WORRY ABOUT LOOKING GOOD WHEN YOU ARE CHILLING! That is a motto I live by!

I hope you liked this little post today! And tell me, what are you most likely to do? Go out or stay in? Tell me in the comments or tweet me at @theycallmeezza. Also, hopefully you'll be able to relate to what I've just written.

Little announcement - unfortunately, this will be the last of #GirlyTalkWednesdays, but only for a while. I just want to do some normal posts and tick off some of the things that I want to write on this blog. I hope you don't mind! Hahaha.

Anyway, until Friday. I post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You're Beautiful and Thanks for Reading!

#GirlyTalkWednesdays : Insecurity

Hello Everyone!

Here we are, once again, with the wonderful segment of #GirlyTalkWednesdays! Wayhey!

So, this week, we are getting a little more serious and deeper with our inner selves. Today, I am talking about insecurity. Every girl has there own little insecurities, some may show them and some may not but we all have them.

There's something in life that makes us have these little moments of insecurity, this could be after seeing something in the media - like magazines or social websites, that make us look at ourselves and want to be the glamorous person that we've just seen. It's hard. I know. I have those days where I see someone or look at some girl that has the perfect slim stomach with perfect thin thighs and I think that I wish I was them or I looked like that. But we need to think that we are special in our way. We were made not to look identical to each other (unless your a twin) and to have our own little marks and sparks that make us who we are.

One of the hardest things, that I think, are getting over the insecurity and thinking more positive about who we are. I mean, we can change what we look like physically by just being healthy with our lifestyle and thinking more about the consequences if we don't exactly follow that healthy life.

We need to stop comparing ourselves to these women with 'perfect' bodies and personalities and start to think how unique we are and how amazing our life is and can be if we just stayed happy and relaxed and stop worrying about what other people think. This is also one of the main reasons why girls AND boys get insecure because we always think that we getting judge by others just by the way we dress, look and act. Express yourself. I literally don't care about what anyone thinks of me as I like to do my own thing and let my weirdness run free because that's who I am and unfortunately I don't want to change that and to be honest, I probably won't ever change that. I'm happy. Are you? That's a question I want you to ask yourself. Are you happy? Happy with life? Happy with what your doing? And mostly, are you happy being you? Please go ahead and tell me YOUR answers to these questions because I would love to know. Also, another quick question, how do you express yourself? Is it in front of people or alone in your bedroom? Believe me, there is no law against you of being yourself out in public. Go crazy. I dare you!

I hope this post has made you think about you and the little insecurities in your life. Are they worth it?

I post every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You're Beautiful and Thanks for Reading!

#GirlyTalkWednesdays : Periods!

Hi Everyone,

How has your day been today? Do tell! Anyway! I should say, welcome! To the first post of the series Girly Talk Wednesdays, this is when I will be talking about...how would you say it....girl stuff? So, I will be either directly to the female reader or I will be telling the male reader of what to expect when girls go through these stages of life. Oh yep, hold on to your hats for a bumpy ride! haha.

Today's topic is quite an easy topic but it's also a way of understanding the whole 'time of the month' thing. So, to start it off I'm just going to say that every single woman on Earth HATES that time of the month! Believe me, it's the most stressful time for all girls as we have different emotions that hit us at any time of the day and this happens for a whole week! Then, the cramps happen. Not every girl may have a cramp every month but when they do, it hurts like hell! So men, I advise you to stock up on ice cream, chocolate, blankets and soppy films when you know your female other is on her time of the month, cause they're gonna need it!

Then comes the headaches! Oh yes! Headaches. Oh, how I hate them so so much. Headaches are literally always around the corner during that week. So, I always take paracetamol with me so whenever I do get a headache I just 2 of those and I'm normally okay after that. Then I may take another 2 after 4 hours as it is advised too.

For us girls, we need to take that week nice and easy and not stress ourselves out more than we already are. I always give myself a little pamper evening so I can relax and just chill out. In my pamper evening I always include a face mask, a unhealthy snack - even if you are trying to stay healthy and clean of junk food, you can not say no when your on your monthlys. I also include a light hearted film or a Disney film, which I always end up watching. This does the trick for me as then I don't feel washed out or moody for the rest of that evening.

As us ladies do like our clean skin and pimple free skin, we always tend to go mental on facial products as we try so hard to get rid of these dirty vermins off our faces. So, I recommend, as I've said before, a face mask, this unleashes your pores and takes out the oiliness in your skin. I also steam! This is such a good trick and it's also a classic one as it does the exact same as a face mask would do but it's completely free! All you need is a bowl of boiling hot water and a towel which you put over your head when you are leaning over the bowl so you don't let any steam escape. I normally put a few drops of tea tree oil in it as well so it will cleanse and make the face feel more moist. Afterwards, I would massage the steam that is on my face then pat dry with a towel.

Hopefully, this has been a little bit helpful towards you lady readers and also given the male readers a heads up! Before I do go, I have to say I applaud every single woman for getting over this horrible time of the month!

Anyway, time to go! You're beautiful and thanks for reading! BYE.
